clan join request

Hi there,

i'm nearly 25 'geek' from Central Europe / Slovakia UT, UT2004 player. My game type preferences: TDM, DM. I've been playing UT since end of summer 2004. Not too often but I've got some skill - yes I'm sure :-)
I'm software developer in business sphere but addicted in making games, i've got also some experience in level making (UnrealEd, Worldcraft and Radiant) but my preference is coding.

I want to join to your clan, because I never been in something like that.

We probably ought to have sticky to that effect...
At the moment we operate as a diffuse community. Afaik the North American side is also inactive.
You are more than welcome to hang around and make posts but I'm afraid you're a year or two too late to see us alive and fragging

To use a stellar analogy I suppose we're kind of like a brown dwarf at the moment.

uff.. that's too bad :-/ i know this is not enough as argument, but I've got another two friends which wants to find/join UT clan [this or another].
Maybe 'we' [i mean ci] should declare a little fight between us.... ??!

Ah... i forgot ... is one of the servers listed on the resource page active ? I can't join them :-/

I don't think we have active game servers anymore. We've been inactive for quite some time, I don't even have the game installed.
I don't know if you use irc but you might be able to find pickup games at #ut2004.tdm on quakenet, though I don't know how active this channel is atm.

Hey there, welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately Psyborg is correct, Ci has been inactive for a while. And we don't have any game servers anymore.
Feel free to hang out on the forums and in our IRC channels #clanci on QuakeNet, EnterTheGame, and GameRadius though.

The NA community still has #2k4ctf on irc.gameradius.org I think. Not sure about the euro community though.

Couple of weeks ago I fired up UT99 after a post by Swedix. That was fun for a bit

Man I miss it sometimes...
The wars, the practices and the fun we had on TS...
Feels like yesterday yet I know it's been years.

Btw Slac, we played ONS and TDM in UT2004. Not sure if we tried on CTF as well, or that it was just some public games. But we did some cups (walker and fur won the 2v2 one

), and loads of laddermatches.
I don't think we ever became active in UT3 though.

Ah well, good times.

yeah.. I dunno what Slac means by UT4 but we were pretty active in UT2004

. It was a new generation who took on the major activity though, as the UT99 vets watched approvingly from the shadows. Alas, there was no third generation for UT3.

I checked the box (UT2004), cos that's the one I actually bought. Never got UT3
