Yupp, I read it on BU's news.
All I have to do is wait for the postman to drop the game in my mailbox :)

Guess I'll have to go down to the store and put the SE version on preorder so I don't have to wait when it hits the shelves.
kinda sucks because I have no more IDE spaces to put a DVD drive. :/

Nah, it wasn't about Warez'ing.
I have preordered the SE-version from Gamesmix.
Jani couldn't find any place in Finland where he could preorder the SE-version so I offered him that I could buy it from Sweden and send it to him. :P

LOL...I'm in the same boat brother....actually i have a DVD drive but its in a PC I don't use any more so I may just swap out my cd burner for the DVD drive temporarily to install UT2004. :rolleyes2:
*edit*
OH...OH...do you think I can just "share" that drive on my network to install the game?

I wonder if they'll stick copy protection on it again... I'm getting the regular version since I don't have a DVD drive and have no plans on getting one any time soon.

Getting the SE (I hope importing won't take too long...)

How do I go ahead and get the DVD version because I am far to lazy to insert 6 cds to install...

Just checked with a local ebworld store on the way home tonight. They were saying that neither version would be instock until March 20th... so I'm assuming he was looking at old data...

CC, I just preordered the SE version ($41.99 CDN !!!!!) from Electronic's Boutique, and they too had a release date of the 20th...
so, if that is accurate (us canucks arent as important to get shipments to i guess), I'll be AWOL until it arrives...

I'll have to check EB. I figured they'd have the same price. It was $50 for either version and no discount for preorder(just a little plastic unreal logo trinket).

actually, in hindsight, it may have been $49.99, but either way, i figured that since it's $50 in the states, we'd be forced to pay in the neighborhood of $70-$80 here. So $50 CDN was a huge suprise for me, well more than a surprise, as i'd have had to wait a couple of weeks until i could afford the higher price. (tho i have a feeling it's going to go up once they've found the mistake [i'm sure the price for the se was a mistake])

I don't know if it's a mistake. The saleperson at the EB games I went to used that as a selling point. He said it's cheaper here than in the states.
I may find someone I know that will buy the cd version, and install it from that using my cd key.
