well as it says UT2004 is absolutley brilliant,my favourite modes are fo course Onslaught and Assualt, there both amazing to play. So the question is, Is CI going to be joining Assualt and Onslaught ladders when the game comes out,cos if so id like to trial for you guys for that section :D

Don't know. If you push Sekh (=lazy git) some, you may even help decide on that :).

sounds like a good idea to me,if you check out the stats for how many people are playing the onslaught mode in the demo, its around 8000 at the moment who are online at one time, Assualt is also really popular and the maps ive heard are meant to be pretty spectacular.

We will be considering every game type.

We are a ctf clan, but we're still gamers that lie to play what we like to play. If we can sort out enough players to get teams together then we shall.

I don't lie to play, I just do it :P

ONS feels like tribes

But if you can get like 700 people on an ONS server it would be better

General gameplay in the other areas has improved

So is the general consensus that [Ci] will not be pursuing UT2004 ladders and/or matches?

It seems as if some here don't care for it. :/

We will be joining the ladders when the full games comes out. We are open to all gametypes depending on what our members want to play. So far everyone is happy with ONS so there will likely be an ONS squad for the Euro's once they've recruited enough people to support a full squad.

So if you want to join us keep playing with us. :D

The game won't be out for another month or maybe longer...

I enjoy long walks on the beach under a full moon, candle light dinners, and oh yeah...smackin some bitches around and getting my adrenaline flowing in matches and scrims. :twak:

theres already over 140 members in the 1v1 DM and 27 clans signed up for ONS and 12 for CTF at PG.

Now maybe I sound ignorant but isn't that the purpose of a clan to get into some action? What am I missing?

Depends on what action...

Ladder play is not nearly as good as scrimmages.

If you sign up for a ladder you can get 1 match a week per ladder on average.

If you just approach other clans and setup a scrimmage you can play as often as you like each week and your not stuck challenging clans that may or may not respond...

So I wouldn't worry about clans that aren't on the ladders yet. ;)

There is always plenty of action out there and I'm sure we'll be on the ladders when the ladders are ready for us.

More than likely the american Ci squads will be joining the PG ladders within the next week. This decision is up to the Squad Leaders, and being the CTF Squad Leader, i will be joining us on the PG UT2k4 CTF ladder very soon.

CC makes a good point. Scrims are the way to go for now. Of course, nothing stops us from joining ladders at the same time.
